Sports Forum
Take a look and let me know what you think. Just launched 4/26...more of a hobby site than anything. I like sports & forums, so the two seemed a natural fit

Agree with Mike_L on the borders on the front page.
Re forums -> what would you like a comment on -> the fact that you have added a logo to a vBulletin board template? |

Yea...I added a logo to VBulletin. Am I missing something...I don't understand the point you're trying to make. |

I'll be tinkering with it over the next few days and will mess with the borders/iamges, etc to see if I can't "nice" it up a little. Thanks for the feedback. |

I like the front page layout, it is very accesible!! If you offer any other content in the future, I might suggest providing a link back to your main page that is easier to spot. Also customizing the forum to your own colors or layout might make people think of your forum as unique.
Best of luck! |

The point of the post that it is a VBulletin board template -> how can anyone pass comments on something that is generic and only has a few personalized features. The main point of my whole reply was that only your main page can really be comment on -> it is like commenting to the people on Devshed that the forums have a great design and functionality -> saying that however, they have tweek the boards an awful lot. From what I see at your site, the forums are straight install with minor alterations that can probably implemented through a control panel (if VB is the same as many other boards). Point was that many people post saying check out my forums -> IMHO, unless the forums are personally coded or tweaked beyond all the mods or hackes that are available, then there is no point commenting on them ![]()

I put the ads in myself. I don't have to include them. |

Thanks for the explanation. My thinking was though that people could comment on the forums available, the layout of the main page, suggestions for content additions, etc. I see what you're saying though, it's valid. |

Yea, I thought as long as I stuck to Adsense Ads (vs flashing banner type ads) it would not be too intrusive for the forum users. |
