Suggestions/Constructive Criticisms for my site requested

This is a rather bland/selfish post, but if you're interested and have time to kill, would you care to check my website? I'm trying to make it as good as possible...

Any suggestions or criticisms would be appreciated.

Here's another: Be nice to Geeks, you'll work for one some day...

From a strictly aesthetic viewpoint... add some STYLE to your pages! At the very least some color. There are lots of css tutorials on the web, a pretty good one is at http://webdesign.about.com/od/css/a/aa010702a.htm?terms=css

Here's a style tag you can add to the <body> tag to give the page a background color <body style="background-color:#CCCCCC> This will give it a lite grey background.

Go http://www.theodora.com/html_colors.html for a color chart.

Finally, you might consider using a menu generator instead of just text links for a little more pop. Go to Xara.com and click on MenuMaker for a free 15 day trial of a pretty decent menu program

i could... but i'm lazy. want to write perfect markup, then add actual <em>looks</em> later...

i think if you cant be bothered making it look a little more pretty, no one will stop to see what its all about.

Even just some simple styling

also, i agree with the other guy bout losing the frames

Changing the content meta tag isn't sufficient. The server itself must deliver the proper headers. See Firefox⇒Tools⇒Web Developer⇒Information⇒View Response Headers. The header may be generated by a script, eg. PHP, or by the server's MIME type configuration. In the Netscape server, you'll need to create a .nsconfig file for the directory of interest (assuming your isp allows). I think this is the right syntax;

The first directive prevents the server from showing your .ns* files. The second says to deliver all .html files in this directory tree as application/xhtml+xml MIME type.

You may see an example of xhtml1.1 and an example of what happens if there is even a single error in the xhtml. Look at the pages in IE to see why xhtml1.1 is not an idea whose time has come.
