SERPS is to do with keywords, meta data and how well you site has been indexed.

My site has a sh*te PR, but tops the list for quite a few good keywords...

There are a number of things you could do to improve...
(took the plunge and viewed your site)

This is only based on the front page -didn't go anywhere else:

Keywords: need improving, and "win money" probably sounds spammy to SE
HTML: Use semantics..
1) Menus use unordered lists
2) Good <title>Page title - also include proper title in <h1> of your document.

That should be a start for you....

I think I am going to split this thread now as this is SEO related now.

wow. never thought about that, but my site looks pretty semantic. i don't see where i can us <ul>s, and my <br />s are pretty necessary.
just an update: i am working on reciprocal links now (added an "Affiliated Links" box).

also, what are your thoughts on the adbrite ads that highlight certain keywords and if a user clicks then it brings them to the advertiser's page?

not all the php is my code, but it is very customized. i think im close to the level where i could make it, although it is very time-consuming, and i could make it better after the advice i've gotten from here.

as for the <ul>s, the menus like Top VIPs? because they would look weird with dots before each name, no? and the numbered lists are more customized, i like it starting at 01. and not 1.

alrighty, i updated the site a TON, and i tried using semantics a lot. i now have <ol>s for the rankings.

i have a question about my semantics and my site in general.

for <p>s, should i include them everywhere i have a sentence or two of text, because to me it seems pretty useless. it doesnt do anything.
also for semantics, is there anything wrong with <br />? should i replace it with something?

now for my site in general: how else can i improve it. i have made new Spry TabbedPanels that makes the pages DRAMATICALLY shorter and user-friendly, and done a lot more if you want to check it out, but i'm still not getting many hits.

I'm not very fond of your banner/logo, the font has rough edges and it doesn't really look all that professional + the colours are not blending well on the background.

I like green, but I think you could vary around with some colorus a bit, your site, to me, looks all too much green.

What I do like is that you have an immense amount of content and as long as you keep adding you'll keep getting visitors.

You should remember that the google "PageRank" has absolutely nothing to do with your website's physical rankings, it is just a measurable system for web masters and nothing more.
