agreeable, but what if i made a separate theme for every day? sun mon tues wed thurs fri sat -> black blue red green... ?

right now i'm really focusing on the table->div change in the code, as well as the site's semantics, so that it loads faster and has better SEO. i will put the different themes idea on my list though.

EDIT:

any thoughts on the layout? the top navbar?

gsquare,

Although your suggestions are good, I have personally found through experience that the internet user prefers continueity accross a site. In other words if I visit your site today and I visit it tomorrow I'd expect it to look the same, if you keep in changing the appearence thereof it might scare off some users in some cases.

oh i had no idea. thanks for pointing that out man! hmm... well how can i change my full-out green to something more colorful. i have very few images, so my options are pretty limited. i agree that the 100% green theme is too green, but it is very warm =) i know colors that wont clash horribly with green, like brown, but where do i put them?
