Overall it looks pretty good. I have a couple of quick thoughts.

    1. Dropdowns fade in to the background, maybe add a border or change the color.

    2. Date in header is a little hard to read, not too bad though.

    3. Links and other text in grey at the bottom are very hard to read.

    Thanks,
    Minnow

Locations and Contact go to same page. Although when clicking on contact, the Locations link is still highlighted. Also the contact info is down the page some... I know it has an anchor, but kind of annoying that it scrolls down and to get to the links, I need to scroll back up.

Just something that's bugging me as well... at the bottom, you have Talk to us, phone xxx-xxx-xxxx .... why put the word "phone" there? I'm sure everyone knows it's a phone number.

You have "Customer Testimonials" under both About and Services.

And then as previously mentioned, the drop downs blend into the background and the small text (top and bottom) are hard to read.

I like it. One suggestion is to improve the Meet The Staff page. Where is the manager and the senior staff on there? Its a 70 year old company so would be nice to see them as well as just the technicians.

Good, simple site though. Good luck with it.

I gotta be honest in saying that I am really suprised at anyone that would say this is a good design. Personally I think it sucks. It does not conform to any of good design and progamming principles.

Its ok. I don't like the header/logo though, I can see that from the picture it's your company logo so you can't really change it but maybe you could make it smaller instead of filling the entire width.

If you were buying a website would you be happier with www.bradshawstransmission.com or www.downtowntransmission.com First Impression?

I prefer the downtown one. I'd fix the title bar though.

    Thanks,

For buying definitely downtowntransmission. Its more generic. But the question was about the design of the sites no?
