Hey there!

I would have a raw concept of a page for review. The page is gonna be a doctor´s portal, where medical information will be posted by different doctors as well as people searching for docs can find out about docs in their neighbourhood....

the basis of the page is a template, since I did not have the time to do all the design from the scratch...

now I would be interested in comments about wether it´s pleasant to the eye or not. And if not, what to change. Basically talking about the color-schemes and rollovers and stuff.

About the loading time: I know it´s a bit long, but I can´t prevent that, when wanting the page to look as it looks (gfx-based).

Rollovers are good - page download time wasn't too bad I thought.
Looks really good. The only thing I can comment on is the doctor picture - I feel it may be better with a real picture instead of a cartoon.
It lloks very good though - I know I said that already I was using Firefox in WinXP, played with window sized too, and everything seems in order.

I would agree with you jabba The site looks fantastique but I would agree it would do better off with a picture of a real doctor as well.

about the real pic: I am a real doctor myself only in about half a year but I guess I can masquerade myself a little for the page

I'm going to agree and disagree with the above posts.
I agree that the site looks great and you shouldn't change a thing.
I disagree about changing the doctor picture. Leave it as it is. I think it would actually ruin the design if you put a real doctor in there; the cartoon doctor simply fits with the design better. And he makes me feel much more comfortable

ok that´s 3:2 I think if I got all that right... keeping the comic doctor then basically I gonna start off the works now. If anyone is interested in what I will come out with I will later on post in this thread, when I am fully done (will for sure take several weeks till then since I plan to implement a complicated CMS for a possible unilimited no of users and so on, as well as am having rather much to do with my studies atm, but still sometime the page will be finished Then I will post
