www.aboutmedjugorje.com
Hi all,
I would really appreciate if some experienced web-site creator could review my ( simple ) web site www.aboutmedjugorje.com I admit I have no HTML, XML or any other language knowledge, I just need to have a site fully functional and I do not have much time to dedicate to creating / modify how the site now is .. My major concern is that some users that already saw my site said that they see that some pages do no fill in the screen size and they are forced, in order to read the text, to scroll back and forth at each line. How is it possible, since I created each page in order to make it fit in the screen size, can this be possibly a problem of different resolution of the screen ( 800x600, 1028x768, .. ) ? Any other problem in my site ( maybe some mis-spelling of my bad English ) ? Thanks, Matteo Martini matteomartini72@yahoo.com |

My Critique:
Well, if this is your first websitej then I would say you did an alright job. The translations are good, since it allows me and others to view it in their language. Might want to put text links in that language so people don't have to try to guess what flag is which laguauge. Obviously, there is huge lakcing in deisgn, layout, etc., but for a first site, it's fine, if it gets the job done. $0.02 Oliver

because of the fixed width measurements you've used, the site will side scroll in any resolution under 1024 x 768. If you were to use percentage measurements, then the site would scale depending on the resolution of the user.

it's pretty good for a first site..
hehe, but you want to read up on some CSS + XHTML. go to www.csszengarden.com to see some of the stuff done by pure CSS hope that'll inspire some creativity in u :P |
