everything beneath the folder tabs is awesome. everything (including the folder tabs) and up is boring and looks like it was kinda half-assed

next time, let me suggest that you come up with a really catchy logo that isnt just a plain old font that was made into an image. i'd also like to suggest that the logo should go on the left side of the screen and the quotes should go on the right. if you DID do this, it would be cool because the quote, folder tabs, and logo could all be horizontally even. theres a LITTLE too much spacing between some things before the main content. i'd suggest putting in some small spacer.gif's instead of relying on the 'ol <br>'s.

also, if you're going to stick with the main colors, i've always loved light blue, white, and a rich #990000 red for hyperlinks. use some more #CCCCCC like you did in the menus at the top. if it looks too dark, i'd go with a #DDDDDD on backgrounds inside of some of the boxes (not possible with code.. you probably already knew that).

i think theres too much black text. try to experiment with other title colors in the center area or something.. i dont know..

again, i really like the right and left menus. those are really cool.

My Critique:

Fantastic site. I've done maybe 8 or 9 critiques in the past few days... but this is the best site I've seen yet. You're use of graphics and text are impecable. It has alot of content on the main page, hopwever it is not very disorganized.

I disagree with the last comments made. I love the logo and the quotes. The logo is in such a different font, such that it will make me associate seeing that font with your website. Do you understand? It is very distinct, and a great choice. And the first thing I did when I got to your site was read the quote. After which, under the assumption that it was a random quote, i clicked refresh and read 2 more. Very interesting, and the placement is very good since i read it, and remember that youre site offers this sort of little information. Great.

Possible Improvements: A better transition with the menus at the top. Under the selected menu, the shade of blue does not completely match or transition correctly. It looks very great, but I'm just being nit-picky. Great site.

I think its a brilliant site, why redesign when its so good?
The blue is brilliant against the white background and its great the way everything is in boxes.
I have nothing bad to say about it, great site. Keep up the good work, if you do decide to still redesign it i think your crazy!
