www.comfortzone.uk.com/site

This is a site for a local furniture company
It was designed as an online catalogue(no e-commerse), with other info eg. contact details, etc

www.comfortzone.uk.com/site

I would like to know what you all think of the sites layout, and the site on a whole

also, Im still developing the product page!! When you click the subheading eg/ beds, it will bring up thumbnails.

Then a larger image when you click them

Is this a good idea

all critisms pls, even the bad ones

having looked at your site, i can honestly say that i cant see a thing wrong. Nice design, colour scheme, well laid out and easily "navagationable".

all of wat you said i was aiming for..thanks! the nav, simple layout

it wasnt me who chose to put purple and blue together. I had to make the most of it. I scraped the purple and made the logo in3ds max.

Do you think its too plain tho..beacuse some site look good, but are 'full'

Yes that's a pretty nice design although I'd drop the saturation on the logo a bit to make it fit in.
I don't quite get why there is a picture of an outside wall on the homepage, not much to do with furniture.
There are some minor validation issues, Mostly Elements not closed.

Overall pretty good.

its actually been nicked from google as a 'doorstop' image until I take a picture of his building.

Same with the one in the products page. That will be inside his building

Can you explain about saturation. I just did it in 3ds max, and cast a shadow???

cheers

tom

saturation is how unpolluted a coulor is, for instance a fully saturated red would be #ff0000, an only slightly saturated red would be #aa5555.

Becuase most of your site graphics is pretty unsautarated, the logo should follow IMO.

I agree with the rest, very nice site, much like how i design, although the logo is very brash. Maybe tone it down a bit, as they said above give it some saturation. Dull it down a bit to make it fit in with the rest of the colour scheme.
