First, the links are black and not underlined.
And regular text is also black and not underlined.
This makes navigation a guessing game. (games are usually fun. this, however, is not)
I'm assuming that all those pictures of ladybugs are for people who haven't uploaded their own photos yet? If that's the case, they're WAY too busy. most sites use really muted 'photo not available' graphics because (1) they're more descriptive than a picture of a ladybug; (2) they don't draw your attention.
I have no idea what this site is about. The main graphic says 'Vancouver's People Engine'. That means nothing to me. As I scan the page I see:
- Login (I'll ignore this, for now)
- Register (Since I have no idea what this site is, I'm not going to register now)
- Upcoming Events (Ok, that makes sense...let's see what's going on here.)
> Evita-theater, Comedy Seatshop, Bard on the Beach...(I spoke too sone, I'm confused again)
- Forums (looking hopeful again, let's see what people in vancouver are talking about)
> postnuke simple urls ? (i have no idea that that means..sound very scary and technical, though)
I scroll down and click on some guy named 'Snorf' His profile looks kind of 'Friendster-ish'...maybe that's what this site is about.
