the design is nice, it seems clear and easy to use and pleasing to the eye. The image at the top is a little lossy, if you really want it i would increase it in quality.
The pages seem to scale nicely, although i would suggest moving your menu into a side bar on the right, this will obviously narrow your main column, but this should make it easy to read, and also having your menu as a definite block rather than a thin strip should increase usability. Maybe this is just be my pedantic nature, but i think your 'dictionary' is in fact a glossary table based layout - switch to divs styled with css and save the planet (see here for a serious reasons

The tables containing the last five uploaded images and videos takes up more space than it should. On either side of each thumbnail you have quite a bit of wasted space. This could be filled with important information that would increase appeal of your site.
Nice logo. G'luc. |

I did that so the page would scale to a users browser if they are at 800x600 or larger. Is ithis a mistake? |

I personally don't see any problem with making the page scalable like that, the spacing doesn't bother me that much. I am a bit bothered by the strength of the borders. Things feel too separated to me and as a result I get a bit lost on the page.
I made a quick mockup just as an idea of how they might be lessened (obviously not perfect but a starting point anyway). |
