a computer help and game frorum, isnt very old but is growing very slowely, i just want some tips on the template, layout etc

what would make you want to join, what would put you of joining...

I like the skin you're using for your forums.

A slightly annoying mistake you have is the misalignment of the "Register" link at the top.

As far as becoming a member myself, I'd have to see more spice on the page, more attention grabbing items. Maybe some form of advertisment of services offered displayed somewhere would beef it up a bit. Outside of your uncommonly used skin, it immediately looks just like any other forum which isn't intensely appealing.

wow.... a vbulletin forum. Nice installation job. Skin looks okay although your layout wastes half of my screen. "Size is set by the user, not the designer" seems to be my mantra today.

You're using a fixed width, so that means there are large unused areas on each side of your content. You're wasting a lot of space on my screen. Your design should scale to any size screen. Let me decide how big I want it, not you.
