Take a look. I know it doesn't validate, doesn't really matter. My big question is this: do you think that I should include the category listing (http://www.mytopfive.com/browse.php) on the main page or is the questions & answers thing more important? Thanks for your opinions! |

you should tell people what your site is about on the homepage.
"list your top 5 favourites of everything and anything! view everyone elses top 5" somethig like that... Do consider validation in the future ![]() you could add the Dir you mentioned on the home page, below the fold. |

Yeah I have no idea what the site is about. Try to tighten it up a bit, I don't like scrolling down so much.

Thanks for the suggestions. I added some descriptive text to the main page so that people have a better idea of what the site is about. Also did the rollover thing. I always do my stylesheet stuff at the very end, I just forgot to add it before posting.
Regarding the scrolling down, do you mean on the pages where you view top fives? I guess the other option is to do as Nielsen says and make the table a percentage rather than a fixed width. I might do that in the future, depending on how others weigh in. Thanks for all the input! |
