Outstanding site...

The ONLY comment I have is that when you leave the home page, there are no OBVIOUS links back to the index page. Only upon hovering the mouse over the address on the left-hand nav bar does a visitor realize that it will take you back to the home page. Make it more obvious. Truly, a reat site!

1. You should definitely place some real photos on the site, especially the front page. That would be cool if you took the pic, the one of the storefront, made it bigger and placed it in the main content area.

2. Could use a better interface to 'hold' the design/site together.

3. Could use more color.

Other than design needs, the site looks pretty functional and user friendly, which is obviously the key. Now if you just dress it up a bit, it could be pro.

Good luck.

Friendly, welcoming site!

The text on the nav buttons looks a little funny center-aligned in this case- would it look better right-aligned?

Like JHouse said maybe something to make the main area and the nav 'hang' better together. They look a bit at odds with each other.

All the best

I appreciate your response. I’ll play around with nav buttons. But I honestly do not understand “main-area-and-the-nav-'hang'-better-together” issue. Please explain (site example may help).
Thanks.

Nice site.. Well done and neat.

My comments:
1. I would not expect the address on the menu pane to take me to index.html. I'd expect this on the beauty salon image on the top rather.
2. The font could be standardized. The font on the menu bar is different from that on the right hand side.

Nice site. I can think of anything bad to say except the smilie face thing can get annoying.

Thanks a lot to all of you!
Milio – good catch (fixed)
PendragonGrntp – I agree., will get rid of it (but it was so nice in the beginning!)
Kirants – 1. will definitely change
2. I understand that I can insure what font will be displayed since it’s up to browser when buttons are fixed (images). But you right I should (and I will) standardize font among the pages.
Chakotha – I remember about buttons (did get a chance yet)
JHousev – I added colorful turkey to my home page, how about that?

Hope to see your “Thanksgiving” note at my pages!
Thanks,
e_t

Solid improvement. Looks even better now.

As always, few points though

1. Not sure if how others would think of this, but I guess having sitemap the first thing in the menu is little unusual.
2. The menu at the bottom of the page has all the menu items on the left hand bar, except site map. Is this intentional ?

That blue color is awfully cold, - doesnt getting any better by all that white.

The various boxes in various colors/modes seems annoying.

The picture of the woman should be aligned to left not right. Text should be aligned to right not left.

Too many font colors.

Site map and map shouldnt be the first buttons on a menu I believe. What is the most important thing to read/show about the company? That should come first.

The mona lise "before and after" joke must be just that.. a joke! Is this a serious salon? As a customer I would reconsider...

Classifieds? Thought it was a salon !??!?!

I'm quite picky about wasted space and I would say there is too much above and below the "Please tell how you found us" box. Fill it with offers or examples of prices.
The left menu says "Job Opportunity" while the bottom says "Job Opportunities"
The Mona Lisa page needs to come under "Fun".

Good luck!
