Hi everyone. I have been working hard on my website and I would appreciate your constructive critism. I sell antiques on my website and need to know in your opinion if you were into collecting what would cause you to not purchase here. (besides price lol, an expensive hobby). I am looking for anything that may make my page look unprofessional. One problem I have been having is that I use a wide screen laptop with a high monitor resolution. What would you say is the most common resolution. Eventually I want to allow other people to sell on my site. Any suggestions there? Thank you

It's nice Simple and tidy.

The only thing that I would say is that I think that the side navigation panel should be a different, darker colour, to make it stand out a little.

Looks good to me. The 'safest' resolution to design for would be 800x600, but the most common (I believe) is 1024x768 (though mine is actually 1280x1024 both at home and work). personally, I try to make sites that will scale correctly no matter what resolution they're being viewed at. By the way, I viewed your site at 800x600 and it actually works, with a slight bit of horizontal scrollbar (but not enough to affect your site).

it looks clean, a little too utilitarian for me... it looks like a template... perhaps you can get an illustrator to design a catchy logo...

plus the pages clock in at around 200,000 bytes for every page... sure images get cached, but holy, it looks like you didnt optmize some of them enough... some are 2kB (good), but some tip the scale at nearly 30kB, and that's hefty for images of 125x125 dimension...
