hey guys, im new here, although ive been around on the devhardware

anyways, i finished a speed racer website acouple of days ago, i did this site completely uncomercially, just to learn/test my webdesign abilities

It looks nice.
Opening some links in a new window is a bit annoying, would be better just to keep it in the same window and let the "back" button on the browser or the "home" icon allow for back navigation. The popups are also annoying.

Final thing: on the front page, you need a label/mouseover title for the 4 pictures that link to the cars, characters, etc. otherwise you don't know where you are going when you click. Of course, the site is completely unworkable with a text browser, but thats not really a concern in this case.

the pop ups are a pain in the @*$* and id agree keep the pages in 1 window
other than that top job
and i loved speed racer when i was a kid you brought back a lot of good memories

thx for the critiques, ill try changing the home page... bout the text browsing, i used this type of method, with flash, as a different option than regular html, so the text browsing was left aside, hope you enjoyed it!
