I've been a part time web designer for my company. I have no official training and everything I know I've learned from sites like Dev Shed, reading samples and what have you. Please let me know what you think, good or bad.

For the design method you used, its good. There are just so many ways to make a website! Try adding rollover effects to your text links with css.

design wise i would tell you to make it a bit more asthetic. try and look into some of the bigger company sites and see what they have done, take some notes, and design your site around what you have written down.
