Well, here's my first attempt at a website for a usergroup I run.

I've tried to keep it simple and informative but I've heard there are some probs with the snapping of layered images to specified positions on the screen (they don't position accurately) with some Mac browsers (eg see the UGBoard page). Why this is so I havent a clue and maybe someone can point me in the right direction.

Another prob I've had is surpressing horizontal scroll bars in iframes. If you look at the FAQ page and select a category its fine in IE but not in Netscape or Mozilla.

Finally, if you use Netscape 7.1 or Mozilla and click on any one of the Userboard members names I get a javascript console popping up giving me a whole bunch of errors. Works fine with IE though. Any clues?

So, please take a look and be brutally honest! If you can help with any of the above probs I'd really appreciate it.

tia.

It looks very good, I am a big fan of simple layouts, and cant stand cluttered sites, and yours is very un-cluttered, and also fast-loading, and the color scheme isn't the best, but it doesn't give you a head ache like some sites

As far as suggestions go, maybe try making the page valid HTML ( http://validator.w3.org/check?verbose=1&uri=http%3A//www.tlcusergroup.co.uk/ ) Which shouldn't be too hard, as most of the code is fine already

Oh, and as for the problem with the scrolling, I have no idea, maybe this will help: http://www.ozzu.com/ftopic25138.html

Thanks for this Josh, its very helpful.

Any takers on my other problems of layered images not snapping to their required position under MS Mac browser or the javascript error message seen under Netscape/Mozilla when viewing www.tlcusergroup.co.uk/members (then clicking on a persons name)?
