It would be great if somebody could give me ideas for http://www.zakirium.com . I have very little experience in graphic design. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I am also not sure background wise. I liked white, but people said it hurt their eyes. BTW- the site is not complete. Thanks in advance for your help.

I like the current colour. If you were to remove the border from the image at the top, so that the top and left side are flush against the page borders, and then stylise your text in another font (maybe Verdana, 9pt?) then I think it'll look ace.

It's getting there

with a menu bar like that, a solid color for the rest of the background is just not going to cut it. You need to add something more surround and encasing the text.
The bar itself is good, but it does't look right. Do to the fact that you have the text on one side, and the varying width and hight of the border, it gives the illusion that it's actually not square right now. Again, having something else on the page might help this out. I would also add something to either side of it that will dynamically resize with the width of the page and make it take up the whole top.

Hi,

Your sites got good colours but it's main page is lacking content. It's not too appealing to the user. Also if you put the header image in the center I personally think it may look better.

Try and put more content on the first page in an organised way.

Content for home

I completely agree about putting stuff on the homepage, I just haven't found a huge amount to put there and I'm not sure what to put there.

The homepage lacks flow. As said above the text needs some kind of casing and the Firefox brand needs to be connected in some manner to the page instead of just floating there.

As for the textures I think you should play more solid dark blue to the header so it matches the rest better.

G'luck.
