    Http://www.boatbookings.com

    Hi:

    We have a web site which is focused on the Yacht Charter trade:
    http://www.boatbookings.com .

    We are charter brokers, operating between the Yacht Owners and the Client. The intention is to provide a service to the client by making it easier to identify the best combination of destination, yacht, crew etc. to make a yacht charter vacation most effective. As such, we try to provide detailed information on all aspects of yacht charter.

    We would welcome any comments with respect to how we can improve design, layout, functionality, navigability or SEO

    Thanks.

    Sean

    Nice site, Id like to be on one of those boats!

    I clilcked around a little, here is some feedback.

    The blue is nice for the water theme, but it gets to be a bit too much. Some of the light blue on blue is hard to read.

    Add a year to the copyright

    Is something wrong with the display on the sitemap?
    Our Boats and Yachts by Boat Name has a bunch of links, hard to read...

    Curious to see others comments. I like the site, but it is easy to get lost - lots of information.

    Good Luck!
    Judy

    It is nice and all, but it is very cluttered. You might want to spread out the information.

    To be honest not much I could suggest. I really like it.

    Its immediately clear what the site is about. The logo works well. Its professional, and the contact us options are very clear and open.

    Good luck with it. If you need a test driver for a boat...

    Ah I thought I recognized your site/username I noticed you fixed the zoom problem. Very nice.. Only problem that I have first of all is your XHTML has around 957 errors..Also, your CSS doesn't validate

    Your errors are very simple for CSS
    1. You can't use negative values for padding
    2. There is no such thing as indent. Try margin instead
    3. It's text-align:center;
    4. You did margin: 0xp;

    Overall very nice site. Good job

    Other than the text at the very bottom being difficult to read, I really liked the look, feel and layout.

    Great job!

    I like the site, but think the fonts are too small, and the overall design should be wider.

    Designs fro the early 90's were narrow because monitors were small. Now, most people (and I'm sure all that lease/buy yachts) have wider monitors.

    The font size and narrow width make the site hard to read.

    The black on blue is hard to read, and normally i would say it is too cluttered, but you seem to have organized your info in a nice way that i was able to glance and find what i wanted.

    Overall, I like it. It's much better that Cats, I'd see it again and again.

    Over all I quite like the design, as others have stated maybe it is a bit narrow and a bit cluttered but I wouldn't say for your site it is a huge problem.

    It has been said, but I would echo that the blue-on-blue is difficult to read. I can only imagine how the situation would be exacerbated for someone with 'older' eyes trying to use bi-focal or (worse) tri-focal glasses to use your site.

    Other than that, I feel it is very well laid out and organized. Easy to navigate and find what you are looking for.
