2003 Server IIS 6.0 config

I wasn't really sure where to post this so here it is.

I just installed Windows 2003 Server and I'm tryin to set up php on it an I followed the instructions here http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/show...?threadid=63223

but I'm still getting a 401.3 error. Something about ACL which I'm not familiar with. I have been running 5.1 on Windows Xp before an I had no trouble

Can anyone help me with this please?

i assume you are using IIS 6 with 2003 server. under inetpub there is a folder called wwwroot which you should know. The difference between XP and 2003 is that in 2003 you have to define the security in 2003.

The ACL error that you are getting is an "access control list" which means you have to define you can access that file. To allow access to this file. right-click on the file that you are trying to view or folder and click on "properties". Go to the tab "security" and click on "add". Type in "IUSR_YOURCOMPUTERNAME". then click ok. You then should be able to view the page you are trying to view.

I hope this helps.

Ryan
