access denied error message
I have a home network with three PC's running Win2000 Professional using a linksys router. Everything is setup correctly and I can access each PC through the network.
The problem is with one PC and accessing a folder within the shared c: drive. I try to access the local user's folder \\PCName\C_Drive\Documents and Settings\UserName\ from the c: drive and I get an "access denied" error message. With the whole c: drive shared, I don't know why any folder would return an access denied error message within the root of the drive. I can access other folders of the drive. I tried sharing the user's folder, but I still get an "Access Denied" error message. Anyone know what is causing this and how to correct it? Thanks in advance.
