If you've installed it right, if you boot off the primary hd, it should show up in mycomputer under another drive letter.

This depends on the way the second harddrive was formatted. If it is NTFS, it is not always mounted automatically.
Right-click on "My Computer", select "Administration". Now it becomes hard for me to explain - german windows ![]() The second category there should be labeled with something with "memory" or "data". Inside, there is option #3, "Memory administration" or similar. There is the "new fdisk" of WinXP. It shows all connected drives and partitions on them. If one is greyed out, right click on it (on the left side with the label "Volume 1") and choose "activate" or "import" or similar. Maybe you have to right-click on the right side (with the coloured parts) after this and select "Assign drive letter or folder" too. Hope I could help... I donīt have access to any english windows versions...

No, itīs not "properties" that i meant. The other one... what is it called. Is it not "Administration"? I want to point him to the "Microsoft Management Console"...

No, it's not called administration; it's named manage.

Thanks for the clarification. I need to remember this.
I wanted to tell people similar stuff several times recently and i had a hard time starting with "Administration"... but noone took the time yet to tell me that it is not named like that ![]() |

It may be called Administration in 2000 or a previous NT version; I went straight from 98 to XP, so I'm not sure...
