Configuration of IIS

Tell me if i am doing something wrong : First off all you load IIS - you then go to the directory called c:\inetpub and create another folder in c:\inetpub\wwwroot\ "Name?" and then place a blablabla.asp file which you then sellect as your default page.
So far so good - but when you enter http:\"i.p"address\files name = nothing ! ! ! !.... I need to use this asp file because it allows me to stream mp3's.

From the local server try http://localhost/blablabla.asp and see if you get the page.

Talking Sorry

I might off miss led you - the blablabla.asp is not a real asp file - ok lets do this properly – I went to a web sight that allowed me to use there already configured .asp file and informed me to create a file in the c:\inetpub\wwwroot\test ( test would be the folder I was to create ) and then set the default page to there file.
The web site is URL and the .asp file is andromeda.asp . Like I said I was able to set it up at work but for some reason / unable to at home. Please help as I am supposed to look into setting up a company forum…….many thanx Chez

Can you describe what you can do at work that you can not do at home?

Is the page behind a firewall?
