Bat file with exceptions
I am not too sure where to make this post but this forum looks good!!
Basically what I need to do is to create a batch file that will delete all files and folders except for certain files and folders. This can be done for the files by either specifying the file extension or in worst case file name (not as preferable cause i have like hundreds of files im working with here) Can this be done for a simple batch file without specifying EXACTLY what files and folders to delete? |

Maybe I have an evil mind, but I don't see any good intent with creating this batch file.
And are you talking all files on C drive? And what files / directories and you wanting to exclude? Some files will not be deleted because they are in use. -PS if you are using this for evil purposes, please have a moderator close this thread, and your going in the wrong direction ![]() |
