Batch File Script Tips

Hello

I am a programmer with experience on unix based machines. I regularly use PHP and MySQL. Wondered if somebody can point me in the right direction to learning how to create DOS batch files. The purpose of my quest is to create a batch file which basically backs up the '.pst' mail file at certain times etc. Can somebody give me a link for tutorials or any information on creating batch files.

I have searched on various engines to find some good links but haven't really found any useful ones. Any help would be most appreciated.

Cheers - ain't got a clue!

I've found M$-DOze manuals (printed, not online) to be useful references on that topic. If there is one around, read it - it should contain information on batch files. Otherwise, search Google. One nice URL I've found after a minute is http://www3.sympatico.ca/rhwatson/dos7/index.html . (Yes, it's quite complete. command.com can't compare with the bash )
