Blue drive and directories
I have two partitions on my drive. I had to reinstall windows XP pro because of a registry error that I could not fix and it would not even boot. I formated the first partition (C
and reinstalled XP clean. Ever since then every folder and filename that appears on drive D: (second partition) appears in blue writing. This is really no big deal but can't figure out why it is happening. NOTE: during the install I never touched anything on the D: partition. I included a JPG file to show you how it looks. Randy |

Did you activate the transparent compression feature of NTFS for this partition? Or maybe encryption?
I think that maybe your OLD installation was setup not to show this by using different colours, but the default is...
