boot disk

i want to create a modular boot disk. a colleague of mine has a floppy disk that is bootable. What do i need to do before i can copy the files over onto my floppy disk? what do i need to do to make it bootable??

Any help appreciated

Replacing the Boot Sector
If Ntldr is damaged or missing, or if the boot sector is corrupted, you can resolve either problem by using the Recovery Console
