Burn a Cd Kill the Computer XP pro
Using XP pro, and after having install Roxio, Ntdi Cd maker and Nero I can not burn a Cd without crashing the system. Nero just won't work, it starts burning a back up and then the blue screen of death, and after reboting your OK. Ntdi will sometimes burn a full setion, but ushaly when you get to makeing the table of contents the program freezes. Roxio is will burn a full session and then when its done you will go to a blue screen that says that its duping someting, (I don't rember exactly and I don't want to go back to it) and starts to count up the number of 'trays'. Well when you reboot the computer it goes at 1/10 the speed as before. The 35 sec. boot takes 2 min. Everything grinds to a halt. You right clik and wait 10 sec! for it to respon, with a 1.6 Gig CPU and all the ram you could want. IN the end I have to reload windows to get them system to run at full speed again. All I want to do is be able to make back up Cd's. Can anyone help me? Maby a diffrent buring software, maby I should just shoot the CPU?
Thanks Arend
