Hi, i'm Giulio, from Italy. I need limited users can access to the CD-Writer/DVD-ROM, so i've set the local policy in "Administrative Tools" -> Local Security Policy-> Security Settings-> Local Policies-> Security Options enabling the " Restrict CD-ROM access to locally logged-on user only". That worked well, but after 1 day about, the limited users couldn't access the CD-Writer any more. Why? What can i do for give permanently the access to limited users? Thanks a lot

You can right click the Icon and go to Propertes
Then you click the Shortcut Tab and click advanced Once you are in the advanced menu you can run the shortcut wit different credentials such as Administrator rights. Cheers
