My computer technician configured the networking between my two MS XP. I can share files and share internet connection as well. But then, I guess I messed up with the configuration and now I can't share files but intenet connection is still shared.
I'm able to ping both of my computer. From the main computer, when I go to My Network Places and click View Workgroup Computers, I can see the name of the other computer. But when I double-clicked on the second computer, an errror appears: //Sky is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network resources. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions. The network path was not found. I have run the troubleshooter but none solves the problem Help is appreciated. |

No, I did not unshare any folders. From My Network Places, I can only see folders I shared but not folders shared on the other computer.

Under 'Network Connections', right-click your 'Local Area Connection' icon and check 'Properties'. In the item list, look for a Firewall/Network Filter. If it's checked, your machine's firewall's probably blocking your sharing.

also try right clicking the local area connection on both machines and do a repair, see if either fail the operation, either way, if this is xp and what ucht doesnt help or the repair doesnt help, try system restore back to a day when they worked. if that dont get it we can work it out from there.
