can XP boot as a second disk ?
i moved my present XP from primary master to secondary (from hda to hdd). because i installed a new disk with linux at primary master.
i couldnt boot XP, although i thought i did necessary things in boot loader file (lilo.conf) so, can not XP boot as a second disk ?? thanks -AC |

It should be able to. How did you configure boot loader?

well...
I'm not that much of a linux person to know how LiLo works. if lilo passes the boot loading onto windows' boot.ini then you need to edit that boot.ini file to tell it where windows is. But if it doesn't then i'm not sure cause like i said, i don't do linux

Yes you can.
Paste the few lines of your lilo.conf where you've made changes to boot Windows. Also what happens when you choose the option to boot Windows? What errors do you get if any? |
