Cannot Access Compaq Laptop ! HELP PLZ
Hi every 1
On saturday my dad brought back a Compaq Armada M300 WIN 98 back from his work coz they didnt need it any more BUT it used to be on a network . It worked 3 times then this happens Titlke In Box: Welcome To The PC Network BOX: Do not attempt to log on unless you are an authirized user Then i click ok Then it tells me to enter password for Microsoft Networking WHICH NEVER HAPPEND BEFORE SO I JUST PUT CANCEL THEN THIS CUMS UP The network can not vaildate ur user name . u cannot acess windows unless ur user name is vaildated by the network Is there a way to by pass and go straight to windows and del;ete the NETWORK? Thnxs or any way to reinstall windows Thnxs

The laptop has been logged into a network that had system policies running. You need to obtain a copy of Poledit (Windows Policy Editor) and use it to edit the system registry and turn off the condition to require a valid username and passowrd. It is this that is stopping you from pressing cancel. To run poledit you need to be logged into safe mode since that will get around the login screen so you can run the program
