Hi...
I need help with this little problem I have with XP. My CDROM drive dissapears suddenly, I dont see it anymore in the explorer or if i'm using it the running program fails. I restart the PC, the drive appears but can use it only minutes, then again...and again I'll appreciate any advice... ![]() |

cdrom
if the cables are plugged correctly, what other ide devices are on the machine, and the jumper setting would be helpfull, basically, on i am assumming ide 1 what devices, and jumper settings, and ide, devices + jumpers, if raid or scsi, for the any drive might want to mention it, if the cd is usb,.......
