cmd starts automatically

I have a big problem with cmd. It starts everytime I boot up Win XP. But the real problem is that it starts and stays open for about 0.5 seconds. Then it closes and starts again and stay open for 0.5 and closes and so on. The visible result is that the cmd promt is flashing constantly. This is very annoying and it doesn´t stay open long enough for me to see what program cmd is trying to open (if any).
The only sollution to this that I´ve found is to manually delete cmd.exe (.com?) in the system32 folder. That fixes the problem and I can still use cmd later if I want to.

Any idea about this?

Don't delete it... you will need it at one time or another. Go to run, type msconfig, and try disabling stuff that starts when your computer boots until uve fixed the problem.

It doesn´t matter if I delete it. Everytime I start the computer it comes back.
