computer refuses to boot
running Windows XP.
My system doesn't want to boot up, as soon as i turn it on, it pretty much justs hangs. the only noise i can hear coming from inside the box is the whirring of the fans, no beeps, no nothing. |

First guess is a dead power supply.

Can you get into BIOS? If so, set your boot sequence to CDRom first, boot from the XP CD and attempt a repair installation.
good luck Tom |
