computer refuses to boot

running Windows XP.

My system doesn't want to boot up, as soon as i turn it on, it pretty much justs hangs. the only noise i can hear coming from inside the box is the whirring of the fans, no beeps, no nothing.

Can you get into BIOS? If so, set your boot sequence to CDRom first, boot from the XP CD and attempt a repair installation.

good luck
Tom
