Connecting win2k and win xp
I have a lap top that has win2k on it and a desktop with winxp.
I am trying to share files between the two computers. I have a router hub that connects to broadband internet. The lap top is wireless.
I am trying to connect through VPN and I can ping the win2k from win xp, but when I ping winxp from win2k it gets time outs.
When I try to connect using VPN connection from win xp I get error800: unable to establish VPN Connection. The VPN server may be unreachable, or security parameter may not be configured properly to this connection.
When I try to connect using VPN from win2k to Winxp the error message says the modem is not configured correct or is not available.
My router is the linksys wireless b network kit. Any help is greatly appreciated.
