Copying a CD with .cda Files

I have a cd that a friend made for me with some of his recorded songs on it and he wanted me to make a few copies of it.. the problem is the files on the cd are .cda extension (not .wav like expected) and the actual .cda files are small, not the actual songs. How would I go about copying this CD? thanks.

BIG PROBLEM! It won't let me do the last track because it is 15 seconds too long...! ah! is there a way i can decrease quality slightly in either real player or windows media player to let it fit all tracks? this is not good.. thanks (it was on a normal audio cd of the same size so I am confused)..

Wouldn't you just be able to use a duplicate cd feature of your software? you shouldn't have to manually copy the files at all. and the files should copy as normal files...
