Create folder list for networked drive?

I am currently compiling the list of folders from a web area on an NT machine. I would rather not do this by hand.

I followed this "hack", http://hacks.oreilly.com/pub/h/611, and can generate a list of folder listings on my client machine. I'm bascially just running a tiny batch file that creates a list from a directory listing.

I cannot however generate a list of folders from a "Network Place", such as \\Someserver\wwwroot on someserver. I have rights go into this folder manually. When I run the batch file on the remote folder, the command window flashes, yet the batch file produces no output.

I'm not the admin, I just need to make a list of the folders!

Thanks for any help.

This is just a guess but I think you need to see if you have write to permissions for this drive.

Since the file is created and saved on the drive you are making a file of, I would think you would need write to permissions.
