Data, srtiped
Can anyone tell me what is meant by striped, basically ive got a friend who wants 3 hard drives 1 with the o/s (XP PRO) and 2 others (data, striped)
Any help or suggestions is much appreciated, ive had a look on microsoft.com but found nothing. Many thanks in advanced Jeffers

Data striping is where on OS writes data over more than one physical hard drive, but treats it as one logical hard drive.
RAID 0 and RAID 5 are two examples of data striping (RAID - Redundant Array of Inexpensive Devices). |

Ouch. Avoid RAID 0 with modern IDE drives. Too many problems can kill all of your data.
