Decent free firewall for XP pro?

Anybody happent o know of a decent free firewall for XP Pro?

I have tried ZoneAlarm and Tiny's one but if find ZoneAlarm a pain to work with and also Tinys doesnt seem very comphrehensive.

Using both of these a mate still managed to find an open port using basic scanning software.

Ah yes I tried that but because I am using AOL on my home connection I am unable to add firewall protection to this as AOL doesnt install a normal connection like most Dial Ups.

I use Tiny PF as I didn't want to trust the MS version of a firewall, and the only thing is you just need to go through and poke around manually to find the open ports and lock them down.

I've used AtGuard for years now, and love it. It's simple, it free, it's great....

you can get it here

you just might want to translate the page since it's in russian...

How do you have yours setup...

I just upgraded and I am trying figure out my way around the security in this O/S (I am used to using Win98 + Tiny Personal Firewall 2.0.15 (which isn't compatible according to their site).

Thanks

I disabled XP Firewall and installed Tiny Personal Firewall and it works fine, does throw an error initially when XP loads because it can't display its logo screen when it loads, but other then that it works fine as far as I can tell.

sygate personal firewall is ok.

http://www.sygate.com

a little more in the way of features than zonealarm, but still noticeable that its freeware.
