Desktop doesn't show on boot (Win2K)
Hi,
I'm running Windows 2000 Professional. Whenever I start the system, Windows loads everything except the desktop icons and then it just freezes. If I shutdown (by hitting the power switch) and reboot, it usually starts just fine and displays the icons on the desktop.
I ran the latest service pack various times but it hasn't fixed anything. Any ideas on 'what' might be causing this?
Thanks,
Ralph.
