DNS & IIS on same box??
I'm about to install W2K server at home. Is it possible to run DNS, and a IIS on the same box? I would reason so?
If possible, then how stressed would the box be?

There's no reason why not.
Whether it'll cope depends on a number of things:
How fast is the box?
How much DNS are you hosting for (for a big uni network or a little home network of 3 machines?)
How much traffic will there be on IIS?
How much else will it be used for
Pretty odvious stuff.
From my experience, they don't take up much in the way of resources (except bandwidth of cause), so I don't see a problem

ive dont it at the place i curently work for. We ran a web server off of it along with IIS. its good but you might want to check into security issues. we eventually shutdown the web server and went with a hosting service due to reasons of security...

Isn't the web server part of IIS?

there is a web server included with IIS i believe but we used IIS purely as a local domain server and were using another web server software...
