haifeng's instructions take care of the command prompt, as for the drivers, what type of file are they? You can probably just double click them and they will run an install program.

if they are in a zip file, you will have to extract them, make a new folder on the desktop, then extract to it, then right click the my computer icon, or link in the start menu, go to properties, then hardware tab, select the device manager tab, then highlight the scanner, right click and select update driver. put a dot in install from a specific location(advanced) then click next, put a check in include this location in the search, click browse, go to the file you created with the extracted driver highlight it, click ok, let it search, should find the driver and take it from there.
