dual boot xp/win98
hi...I am currently running Windows XP Pro on my computer, and i need to install windows 98 to run a couple of my programs. How do I install Windows 98 without losing all my current files and without having to remove windows xp.

You need to have a real microsoft windows xp disk, not just an oem cd from your computer manufacturer. Then, install win 98 on another partition (such as d. Then use the windows xp cd to repair the xp installation, and it should set up the boot loader files and such to dual boot.

and this is assuming fat32 for the xp partition. if ntfs 98 won't install natively. There is a debug script out there that can make the boot file which can then be run from ntfs.
