dual boot xp/win98
hi...I am currently running Windows XP Pro on my computer, and i need to install windows 98 to run a couple of my programs. How do I install Windows 98 without losing all my current files and without having to remove windows xp.

You need to have a real microsoft windows xp disk, not just an oem cd from your computer manufacturer. Then, install win 98 on another partition (such as d
. Then use the windows xp cd to repair the xp installation, and it should set up the boot loader files and such to dual boot. |

and this is assuming fat32 for the xp partition. if ntfs 98 won't install natively. There is a debug script out there that can make the boot file which can then be run from ntfs.
