Exe password protection

Hi all,

Im looking for a piece of software that will add password protection to a
Win32 .EXE file and importantly allow you to pass the parameter on the
command line.
ie myprotectedexe.exe /p:mypassword << or
similar

Ive come across loads that will password protect exe's, but they all splodge
a windows dialog box for you to input the password This is no good to me
at all.

Thanks in advance

It would be easy enough to write an app that checks for a password on a command line, but I get the impression that you want to apply this idea to a pre-existing app ? That would be tricky, IMHO.

I just thought of this: an 'exe packer' compresses a pre existing executable, and includes in its output, the compressed exe and a decompresser stub. I have used one before whose name I forget.... There are several available, maybe one will have the option to require a password for the decompressor; this would do what you want.
