Ellos,
Have a bit of a problem with opening files on my computer by double-clicking. Whenever I double-click to open a file, rather than opening that file, it opens up a Search window. This all started happening the last time I had to format my computer. In <Tools> under <Folder Options> it is set to "Double-click to open an item (single-click to select)" and "Open each folder in the same window." I've tried changing this to "Single-click to open an item (point to select)" and the same problem occurs, tried changing it back, etc. So, to open a folder, I have to right-click & then use the open option. Like I said, this all started happening the last time I had to format. Not sure why it's doing it or how to fix it. So, if you have any insight (that hopefully isn't, "try formating again" ) , I'd greatly appreciate it.Thanx! Good Journey! |

Start with some basics
Do an online scan:
Panda ActiveScan http://www.pandasoftware.com/active...n_principal.htm Install, Update, Immunize and run: Spybot Search & Destroy http://www.safer-networking.org/ Install, update and run: AdAware http://www.lavasoftusa.com/support/download/ |

Well, did them, and still no problem fix.
Any other ideas? Good Journey! |

sfc /scannow is a quick check of your system files, it's worth a try.
