Files not Defrag

When i try to defrag c drive, i was informed that there are several files that the PC unable to defrag. Will this affect the Pc speed? cos currently i see that it is quite slow n what can we do to these files? Can we still defrag them? Previously, i have no pbm in defragging all the drives.

I doubt a couple of files will slow down the computer.

Normally the things that slow down a machine the most are programs running in the background. These can be things like popup blockers, spyware, virus scanners, spam filters etc. If you have downloaded heaps of these sorts of programs and have them all running at once it will slow down your machine.

Wat's the diff in defragging files in Safe Mode?

Less files are in use by the system and other processes. Allowing these to be defragged also.
