Floppy-less XP Install Issue
Anyone heard of this?
Installing XP Pro from a bootable CD ROM drive on my new P4 box I'm building - using dual 80GB SATA drives striped together in a RAID 0 array.
Need to supply the drivers (having pressed F6 at the Installation init) for the drives, but the problem occurs when I'm asked to specify the 3rd party drivers for the mass storage devices. I hit 'S', and XP asks me to insert the 3rd party driver disk into drive A - but I don't even have the floppy drive enabled in the BIOS setup.
No other options seem available (such as providing the drivers from a CD - I even tried putting the drivers on a CD and going that route - to no avail)
According to the driver docs, there should be an option to hit 'O' to specify other location at this point, but it's not there.
Anyone? Bueller? Anyone? =0)
Thanks in advance. =0)
