Ghost Operating System During System Boot
I have 3 Operating system Installed on my computer. When I tried reformating one of them *in which case is Windows XP* it deletes everything as expected. However, it does not delete the OS Line during system bootup. What i mean is that even though the OS is deleted, the selection item for WIndows XP is still there.
[Boot Loader]
Timeout=25
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINNT="Microsoft Windows 2000 Advanced Server" /fastdetect
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Professional" /fastdetect /KERNEL=kernel1.exe
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(1)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition" /fastdetect
^ That's how the boot.inf file looks like. Should i try just deleting the line with the XP Professional?
